Q. How do I schedule a wedding at the Courthouse?

ANSWER: The Barberton Municipal Judges only perform marriages for individuals from this jurisdiction (Barberton, Norton, Green, New Franklin, Copley Township, Coventry Township and Village of Clinton). The schedule is subject to the Courts availability. Contact the Bailiff at (330) 861-7215 to make arrangements.

A marriage license must first be obtained at the Summit County Courthouse, Probate Court Division, 209 S High St, Akron. Call to find out the cost and necessary documents needed (330) 643-2346.
