Q. Why have my property taxes increased?

ANSWER: Property taxes are administered by the Summit County Auditor’s Office. You may contact them at (330) 643-2637. (Summit County Auditor's website).

Q. Where is the Finance Department located?

ANSWERS: The Finance Department is not in the Municipal Building. Our location is 104 Third Street NW and office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Water bill payments can be made at the Cash Office drive-thru window. A night deposit box is located on the Third Street side of the building.

Q. I have a question about my water bill?

ANSWERS: Although the Finance Department sends out water bills and collects payments, all customer service is handled by the Utilities Department at (330) 753-0328. Payments can also be made at the Utilities Customer Service Office.

Q. Can I sign up to have my water bill payment made directly from my bank account?

ANSWERS: Yes, applications for automatic payment are available at the Finance Department Cash Office and Utilities Department Customer Service. Link to Direct Payment for your Water & Sewer Bill.

Q. What is Barberton's income tax rate and what income is taxable?
