Magic Egg Hunt-Saturday, March 27, 2021

Pre-registration is open for residents of Barberton for timed slots to hunt for a specified number of eggs.  All registrants will receive a bag of candy at check-in.  The event is located at Lake Anna Park and all COVID protocols will be adhered to including mask wearing and social distancing.  Eight eggs will have a certificate for a special Easter basket that may be picked up at the Parks and Recreation offices.  Gift certificates for Skoops Ice Cream will also be hidden in special eggs, thanks to Skoops for their donation!  Please call Kara Lysenko at 330-848-6740 to register.

Take Pride in Barberton Day-Saturday, April 24

Help us clean up Barberton with your friends, family or group.  Pre-registration is required as the event is on your own time.  Supplies will be provided.  Please adhere to all current COVID protocols including mask wearing and social distancing.  Please contact Samantha Edgar at 330-861-7184 to take part in this event.

Labor Day BBQ and Music Festival-Date TBA

Food vendors, music and fireworks.  Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 6th at 10:00 a.m.  

Document Shredding and Recycling Event-Saturday, September 11, 2021:  9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

This paper recycling event is sponsored by ReWorks.  The event takes place at the Barberton Community Foundation Sports Complex located at 841 Wooster Rd. W, entrance is on the Wooster Rd.side, exit Hopocan Ave.  This event is a free Document Shredding Event for Summit County residents and businesses.
> All paper shredded will be recycled.
> Limit 10 file boxes or shopping bags (please do not tape up boxes; paper bags are preferred over plastic)
> Remove all metal clips, rubber bands and plastic report covers

31st Annual Mum Festival-Saturday and Sunday, September 25 and 26, 2021:  10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. both days

Lake Anna Park Holiday Lighting-TBA

Holiday lights will be lit the last week of November and will continue through January 3, lights are turned on at 5:00 p.m. daily and remain on until 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday evenings, and until 10:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and holidays.  Lake Anna Park is located at 615 W. Park Avenue in Barberton.
