The Barberton Fire Department hosted students from the Four Cities Compact Firefighting Program this past Saturday, March 21, at Station 2 for HOT training (hands on training).
Students were able to participate in a search class, downed firefighter rescue, water movement, forced entry and ladder evolutions. These are required skills that are practiced for the students’ State of Ohio Firefighter Level 1 and 2 training requirements.
