Barberton History: The Barberton Tabernacle

Have you heard of the Barberton Tabernacle? Built on Lake Anna’s shore at the corner of Lake and Third Street, this temporary building was the site of six-week revival meetings each year from 1910-1915. The meetings included a combined choir of 200 people with a 300 voice children’s choir. The building was permanently torn down in 1916. We love living in a community with such rich history. If you have any Barberton memories for us to share, please message them to our Facebook page!
